which engage youth as active leaders and resources in their communities.

Traffic Safety Resources

As part of the California Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) Occupant Protection Challenge Area, Friday Night Live has developed three resource documents to assist occupant protection partner organizations to conduct interventions with targeted 15-24 year olds.

Developed resources include: one list of current research on seat belt use among 15-24-year-olds, including both national data and California specific data, one list of social media campaigns that aim to increase seat belt use among 15-24-year-olds, and one list of best practice countermeasures to reduce the number of people (15-24) killed and injured due to a lack of seat belt use.
